About FORDINGBRIDGE AND DISTRICT u3a

Are you no longer working full time? Wanting to try something new? Fordingbridge u3a is an inclusive organisation which aims to give its members the opportunity to meet new friends, try something new, and stay mentally and physically active.
Come and join us to have some fun, and learn, laugh and live!
Numbering over 150, you will find a friendly and busy u3a with over 25 active groups. There is a monthly General Meeting open to all members in Avonway Community Centre in Fordingbridge, SP6 1JF, on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. with invited speakers on a wide variety of topics of interest- refreshments are provided. Visitors are always welcome, and there will be someone there to meet and greet you and answer all your questions. Why not come along and try it out before joining?

We have a regular emailed Newsletter containing the latest news and updates.

Like all National u3as we have a Committee of volunteers to guide policy and the day to day running of the organisation, but the real backbone of our u3a is the Group 'Facilitators', volunteers in each group who organise sessions and make our u3a what it is. Have a look at the Groups page for a flavour of our activities.
